BAD Poster - Thalan Harry
Title: Mixed Feelings
The mixtape is one of our most democratically coveted expressions of art. Collecting pieces of music from what you believe to be the greatest artists you’ve heard, meticulously recording each song one-by-one, and curating a one-of-a-kind listening experience that nobody except you could have made. Catered perfectly to your own tastes, hearing the right song at the right time can feel nothing short of ethereal. This poster is an attempt of visualising the auditory sensation that can’t be pinned to a single feeling. The segno below, a mark indicating the repeat of a musical performance, signals our urge to listen to our favourite mixes again and again in hopes of once again experiencing our ‘mixed’ feelings.
