Title: Home is Where You Are

‘Home Is Where You Are’ is an ode to all our furry friends on the Northern Beaches. Our parks, sidewalks and cafes are where we all go to get our dog fix. They break down the barrier of connection between strangers, becoming friends even for a moment. A smile on the face of a passer by, sometimes turning a frown upside down. A connection to nature is so needed for our mental health and for the future health of this planet. I love that our ‘man's best friend’ is a spokesdog for all the other Beings without even knowing. 

They say that all dogs are descendants of the Grey Wolf, the Beings of this artwork. One species evolved/breed into countless colour, shapes and sizes, just like humans. A reminder that we are all Beings of this Earth, all important, all valuable, all worthy of love, care and safety.
