Title: The Koalas

Brentos is a Sydney based illustrator and muralist who grew up with the bush in his backyard where he’d spend his free time exploring fire trails, building bush shacks and searching for yabbies in secret watering holes. If he wasn’t in the bush, he’d be at the beach playing in the surf or learning Photoshop and HTML on his old computer.

From these early memories grew the inspiration for his work – a uniquely nostalgic, joyful style of illustrated pop art that hums with bubblegum pastels, cheeky wildlife characters and a subtle 90s surf aesthetic with a mission to share a positive message for the native animals of Australia.

He runs the Brentos art practice with French Canadian partner Tash and together have painted walls across Australia and have a growing series of best-selling Australian picture books that can be found in bookstores throughout Australia.
