He established Full Moon Hot Sun in 2014 and has created factual films, advertising, live events and other content for corporate clients including Citibank, Samsung, Hurley, Ivy League Records, Mushroom Group and Universal Music.
He’s also been creating his own projects (currently on hold while he’s been attending to BAD business), and his short ‘home-made fan-film’ about 70s Sydney rock outfit Radio Birdman ‘Into The Maelstrom’ was a Tropfest finalist in 2016.
Asked why he’s donated three years of his time to BAD:
“
Primarily the opportunity to profile and market the extraordinary entrepreneurialism, innovation and creativity that characterises Brookvale.
Also, having grown up around the Northern Beaches and spending most of my adult life here I have fond memories, from the late 70s and throughout the 80s, of going out to see an unbelievable array of local and international music artists like Midnight Oil and Celibate Rifles, Hunters and Collectors, UB40, the Stranglers, and so many more, at venues like the Royal Antler and Manly Vale Hotel…most of which have now gone
So I’m very excited and optimistic about the local community coming together to grow and protect the re-emergence of a once vibrant Northern Beaches music scene now anchored in Brookvale at the likes of LABEL. and Buckettys plus all the other breweries and entertainment venues. It’s one of the catalysts to Brookvale Arts District's transformation into a future-ready, global centre of arts, industry and entertainment.
