Mctavish Surfboards has proudly opened its doors in Brookvale, a home for the local crew to gather post-surf, have a coffee and food by BC, and watch classic films. With surfboards ranging from 5 to 11 feet and quality, purpose-driven apparel, the shop’s handmade, modular setup is built for the community—hosting film nights, BBQs, and workshops. Founder Bob McTavish, still shaping at 80, is stoked to be back where he started and carrying on the spirit of the sixties. With handcrafted boards from Byron and durable Apparel and Gear, Mctavish’s Brookvale store is where surfers and ocean lovers will feel right at home.
