Holly Mahoney
Holly Mahoney is originally from Geelong, where she spent her childhood enjoying the rugged beauty of the south coast, later exploring this landscape further in her body of artwork at university.
Based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Holly has become a visual artist known for her figurative and landscape works on paper and canvas, often the ocean and the deep blue, a recurring theme.
Holly’s artworks invite the viewer to explore her world inspired by the everchanging movement of the ocean and be immersed in dramatic light, and colour.
Holly holds a BA in Visual Art (Painting & Drawing) from the University of Ballarat and Gallipoli Art Prize - Finalist, 2021.
